EFT Chams Explained: Enemy & Loot Chams in Tarkov (2026)
Chams are one of the simplest and most effective Escape From Tarkov hacks, and one of the cheapest ways to get an edge. If you want to see enemies and loot clearly without a screen full of boxes and text, chams are for you. Here is what they do and how they compare to full ESP.
What are chams in Tarkov?
Chams (short for "chameleon") re-colour players and items so they stand out from the environment. Instead of a dark figure blending into a shadowy corner, an enemy glows in a bright, solid colour you can spot instantly, even through walls. It is a cleaner, more minimal alternative to full ESP: less clutter, all the visibility.
Types of chams
- Player chams: enemies highlighted in a bright colour so you spot them the moment they are in view or behind cover.
- Item and loot chams: valuable loot glowing so you never walk past a good grab.
- Visibility chams: colours that change based on whether an enemy can actually see you.
Our Phoenix Chams gives you player chams, item chams, and visibility at the lowest price point we offer, a perfect entry into cheating in Tarkov.
Chams vs ESP: which should you use?
Both let you see enemies through walls, but they suit different players:
- Chams are minimal and clean, just glowing enemies and loot, no clutter. Cheaper, simpler, and great for a legit look.
- ESP gives you far more, distance, health, AI, loot filters, but puts more information on screen.
If you want maximum awareness, go ESP with Phoenix. If you want a clean, cheap edge, chams are ideal.
Are chams safe to use?
Like ESP, chams are information-only, you are not doing anything statistically impossible, which makes them hard to detect through gameplay. Safety still comes down to the cheat delivering them, so use an undetected, kernel-level cheat. See our complete EFT hacks guide for the other options.
